The CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
What is the WCD Children's Program?
It is a dynamic curriculum that expands both the physical and emotional well being of the student:
*Where creative martial arts, sporting activities and gymnastic exercises challenge the student in a safe, fun environment.
*Where qualified instructors provide individualized and highly motivational goals for each child.
*Where children age 5 years to 12 years develop: learning skills, martial arts skill, social skills, self discipline, responsibility, teamwork and respect for self and others in an exciting class atmosphere.
*Where parents find a caring and professional staff whose sole purpose is to stimulate and draw out each child's positive potentials, so they can be ready to meet any of life's challenges.
Preschool & Kindergarten Programs (Ages 5 to 6 Years)
Designed to enhance non-abusive martial arts fundamentals incorporating learning and listening skills, motor skills, age appropriate confidence building games, physical fitness courses and lots of fun without threat or competition.
Grade School Programs (Ages 7 to 12)
Continuing the non-abusive approach to martial arts with emphasis on learning proven self-defense skills using a structured Belt System. At these levels we focus on the development of building self-confidence and self-discipline through risk taking and controlled competition while expanding the students' social skills and self-respect.
Young Adult Programs (ages 13 to 16)
An age wear the kids are making that big step into adulthood. Harder to teach than the younger students since they are going through some dramatic changes emotionally, physically and mentally. Special attention is required in order to help the youngster grow without the instructor being invasive in their lives.
Now is the Time for an Effective and Affordable Children's Program
Children at Risk
Statistics indicate that today's children are overweight, in-active and fail to meet even minimum standards for strength, flexibility and endurance. They suffer from lack of self-respect and a personal identity, which can lead to feelings of despair, alienation and rebellion which often create poor levels of achievement in school. Worse, they are learning a lifestyle that is a prescription of failure in their later years.
A Solution
WCD Children's Program.
WCD provides cutting edge, affordable programs for child development. It gives the child an opportunity for self-recognition by developing exciting skills as well as the opportunity to be treated as an equal among children of different ages and cultural backgrounds. By offering unique training equipment, a fun non-threatening environment along with learning practical self defense skills the children will want to attend classes. The child's strong desire to train insures they will also learn the respect, discipline and teamwork attributes that are the foundation for the WCD program. As the child develops self-confidence reliance and other positive attributes the instructor will recognize a distinct growth in his school as he experiences one of the best methods of promotion, word of mouth. It will not take long for the instructor to quickly become an important part of the community. Also very important, the extensive credentials and strong worldwide name recognition of the legendary Bruce Lee and Grandmaster James W. DeMile give the WCD program instant legitimacy, which is critical for the new club owner.

Self Confidence and Self Esteem
Keys to Success
WCD Children's Program is completely different from indoor playtime, day cares and other child development franchises or businesses. WCD Children's Programs are curriculum based, modeled upon careful industry research. They encompass the latest advances of child development methods. Much more than mere play time, our integrated and sequential programs are designed to insure children's individual accomplishments while building skills and positive attitudes which will remain with them throughout their lives.
The end result is a child that realizes his/her given potential and confidently strives towards new goals and achievements.
HIGH SATISFACTION
Teaching Martial Arts is a profession. A profession that fills a vital need that every community has. How do you teach and develop the positive attributes children need in order to cope with the real life outside of the video arcade? The WCD Children's Program is an exciting alternative. Teaching children to believe in themselves is a unique occupation where business owners discover the personal rewards of owning a successful business that also has the power to profoundly change lives for the better.
Low Initial Investment & Low Operating Cost
The WCD Children's Program has the advantage of low investment for start-up, low overhead and low operating expenses. Your business may be located outside the high rent district where parking is easy and rents are affordable. The colorful interior décor is inexpensive and simple to create. Most of the equipment is easily built, low-cost and can last for years. Minimal teaching requirements are needed in the initial phase so your low payroll cost is an added benefit. As your business grows, it is easy to acquire part-time or full-time staff to handle many aspects of the operations: to teach, to assist teaching or to handle expanding administrative duties.

Home study would include printed material as well as video training. Testing would take place at both the regional Wing Chun Do school and the student's home (by video).
REGIONAL TRAINING AT THE WCD SCHOOL
As the student progresses through the training program s/he would be required to actively participate for a specified number of hours with a small group of children.
